To troubleshoot Option 005
To isolate a malfunction to the Option 005 board, do the following:

Disconnect the three cables that connect the Option 005 board to the
system board.

Verify proper oscilloscope operation, as described in this chapter.

If the oscilloscope passes the performance verification and the
malfunction still occurs when the Option 005 board is reconnected,
then you should replace the Option 005 board.
