DROP DETECT CALIBRATION
In this procedure, the position of the drop detect sensor relative to the four print cartridges is
calibrated. Four values are calculated and stored in the plotter EEROM.
Perform the drop detect calibration whenever the:
Drop Detect Calibration is accessible through the ªService Testsº menu. To perform the drop
detect calibration, do the following:
1. Press Enter at the ªStatusº display.
2. Use the arrow buttons to scroll to the ªUtilitiesº main menu. Press Enter.
3. Simultaneously press the Enter and the Up Arrow buttons to access the ªService
Testº submenu.
4. Scroll to the ªDrop Detect Calibº submenu. Press Enter.
5. Messages in the plotter display will inform you that the calibration is in process and
to press the Enter button after a successful calibration.
