Two Year Warranty and Restored Exchange Parts
The microcircuit parts listed in Table 6.0
are
provided with eithera two-year warranty from the date of purchase
and/or a restored exchange parts program.
A two-year warranty applies to both an original component and to one that is purchased as a replacement part
either new or restored through the support life of the instrument. The restored exchange parts program allows a
defective component to
be
exchanged for a factory-restored part which provides a substantial reduction in
replacement cost. In addition, if the original component is covered by a two-year warranty, the exchanged
component will also have a two-year
warranty from the date of purchase. Table 6-0 below identifies the
components within the instrument that have a two-year warranty as well as those that are avaiiable as restored
exchange parts.
