Saving and Recalling Measurement Results
NOTE You can also change to a directory and use to create a
subdirectory. The number of characters in a directory and subdirectory
path cannot exceed the MS-DOS limitation of 63.
Change to a
Directory
1. Press the keys to highlight the directory you want to
change to. Then press . After changing
directories, the current directory name appears in the top box of the
displayed table.
2. To change to the previous directory, highlight ..<PARENT> and press
to return to the disk's previous directory.
3. To change to the disk's main or root directory, continue highlighting
and changing to the ..<PARENT> directory until the current
directory name in the top box is simply a backslash "\."
Remove a
Directory
1. A directory must be empty before it can be removed. If there are files
in the directory that you want to move elsewhere and delete, refer to
“Other File Utilities” on page 4-63 for information on how to copy and
delete files.
2. Highlight the directory to be removed by using the front panel knob
or the keys.
