Making Measurements
Measuring S21 Forward Transmission using an Enhanced Response Calibration
4. The analyzer will measure each standard and then calculate the new
calibration coefficients. The message "Calibration complete."
will appear for a few seconds when the analyzer is done calculating
the new error correction array.
NOTE Changing sweep frequencies (and other source parameters) may affect
your calibration. See Chapter 6 for more information.
Calibrating for Noninsertable Devices
A non-insertable device is one that cannot be inserted in place of a
zero-length through-standard. It has the same connectors on each port
(type and sex) or has a different type of connector on each port (SMA on
one port, and Type-N on the other, for example). To review two methods
of calibration for non-insertable devices, refer to the previous section
“Measuring S-Parameters using a Two-Port Calibration” on page 3-19. In
both methods, you will need to select from the
