11. If no M.2 SSD will be installed on the iLO-M.2-serial module, install the SSD mounting screw and hex nut removed on step 9 on the
M.2 22110 standoff on the module .

12. To locate the M.2 standoff on the correct position:
a. Verify that the M.2 standoff position in the module matches the length of the SSD .
b. Install the hex nut removed on step 9 on the M.2 standoff location.
13. Install the SSD:
a. Insert the SSD into the M.2 slot at a 45° angle (callout 1).
b. Carefully press the SSD down to the horizontal position (callout 2).
c. Install the SSD mounting screw (callout 3).

14. Remove the serial port blank.
