Cabling
Cabling overview
This section provides guidelines to help make informed decisions about cabling the server and hardware
options to optimize performance.
For information on cabling peripheral components, see the white paper on high-density deployment at
the Hewlett Packard Enterprise website.
CAUTION: When routing cables, always be sure that the cables are not in a position where
they can be pinched or crimped.
To change cables:
1. Power down the server (on page 20).
2. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
3. Remove the access panel (on page 21).
4. Remove the fan duct (on page 69).
