6. Remove the access panel.
7. If the 12G SAS expander is installed, remove the riser cage.
8. Remove the air bale.
Installing the air bale
CAUTION: For proper cooling, do not operate the server without the access panel,
bales, expansion slot blanks, or
blanks installed. If the server supports hot-plug components, minimize the amount of time the access panel is open.
Procedure

Install the air bale.
2. If removed, install the riser cage.
