a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
4. Do one of the following:
• Extend the server from the rack.
• Remove the server from the rack.
5. Remove the access panel.

Remove the riser cage.
7. Remove the existing riser board.
8. Mount the riser board with the guiding pins on the riser cage, and then install the screws.
• Primary riser cage
• Secondary riser cage
9. If installing the expansion board, do it now.
10. Install the riser cage.
11.
Install the access panel.
12. Install the server into the rack.
