Integrated Management Log
The IML records hundreds of events and stores them in an easy-to-view form. The IML timestamps each
event with 1-minute granularity.
You can view recorded events in the IML in several ways, including the following:
• From within HPE SIM
• From within the UEFI System Utilities (on page 154)
• From within the Embedded UEFI shell (on page 156)
• From within operating system-specific IML viewers:
o For Windows: IML Viewer
o For Linux: IML Viewer Application
• From within the iLO web interface
• From within Insight Diagnostics (on page 153)
Intelligent Provisioning
Intelligent Provisioning is a single-server deployment tool embedded in ProLiant Gen8 and later servers.
Intelligent Provisioning simplifies ProLiant server setup and provides a reliable and consistent way to
deploy ProLiant server configurations. This server does not support operating system installations but
does support maintenance-related tasks using the Perform Maintenance window.
