As already stated, the risk is that the line voltage between two conductors feeding a group of
motors sharing the DC Bus could exceed 230 V eff., i.e. 325 V peak. A typical situation in which
this occurs is the following.
In this case, voltage V_d has a phase of 0 radians, similar to V_a, but possesses a modulus of
325V. Line voltage V_db has around 449.5V as its modulus, which is unacceptable for the reasons
described.
General requirements for the use of electric connectors
The connectors must be handled with care.
During inserting:
before connecting the connectors, look for the reference notch in the male connector and the
slot in the female connector;
make sure to align the notch with the slot, before insertion;
gently push the connector into the socket. If this is difficult, lightly turn the connector in both
directions (clockwise and counterclockwise) until you notice that the notch entered the slot.
fit the connector all the way;
with one hand, hold the connector and with the other fully fasten the ring nut. Do not force
while fastening the ring nut. Do not use tools and do not apply transverse or rotational forces
to the connector.
During removal:
with one hand, hold the connector and with the other unfasten the ring nut, without tools;
do not use tools during removal and do not apply transverse or rotational forces to the
connector.
