2. Connect the new SFP+ cable.
Remove the dust-proof cap on the port, and insert the cable connector into the port.
When you hear a "click" and the cable cannot be pulled out, the connector is secured.

Step 5 Check whether the new cable is properly connected.
Power on the device. Check whether the communication with the peer device is normal by
running the ping command.
l If yes, go to Step 7.
l If no, go to Step 6.
Step 6 If the peer device cannot be pinged, check whether the cable is intact or the connector is
securely connected.
