The difference between ADSL mode and NGADSL mode is as follow:
1) ADSL mode maps RFC2662
- Configuration is consisted of a line profile only
- ADSL extended line profile can be configured based on requirement
- Up to 1002 ADSL line profile can be added for the MA5600T
- Up to 32 extended line profile can be added for the MA5600T
- ADSL port is activated with line profile index
- Extended line profile can be bond with ADSL port based on requirement
2) NGADSL mode is a new generation of ADSL standard and maps RFC4706
- Configuration is consisted line profile, channel profile and line template
- ADSL port is activated with line template index
- Up to 128 ADSL line profiles can be added for the MA5600T
- Up to 128 channel profiles can be added
- Up to 128 line template can be added
