The control board of the UA5000 is H601PVMD. The UA5000 version is
UA5000PVMV100R017C02B107.
Services are transmitted over the ETH1 port of the H601PVMD board. When an Ethernet cable
is connected to the ETH1 port, the port indicator is not on.

s:
The upstream service port mode is not modified so that the Ethernet port is down and service
communication fails.
Handling Proce
ss:
Connect the Ethernet cable connected to the ETH1 port to the Ethernet port of a laptop. The port
indicator is on. The Ethernet cable is normal. Log in and run the following command to check
the state of the ETH1 port:
UA5000(config)#display fe active eth1
link state:down
mode:100M duplex
Check the working mode of the PVMD board as follows:
M200(config)#display working mode
working mode:alone
outband port:ETH port
service port:GE optic port
The service port of the board is a GE optical port. Run the following command to modify the
upstream port mode:
UA5000(config)#up-linkport set workmode eth1
! RECOVERY MAJOR 2008-10-24 13:29:39 ALARM NAME :Up ETH1 port link recovery
After the modification is complete, the port is normal and services are restored.
