scription:
In an office, after multiple UA5000s are upgraded to a new version, the busy tone upon off-hook
occurs when the traffic is heavy. After off-hook for multiple times, the call can be successfully
made and the callee is normal. (Target version: V100R013C05B051)

Cause Analysi
s:
1. The configuration of the device is incorrect.
2. The hardware such as control board or cable is faulty.
3. The overload control parameters of the UA5000 are improper.
Handling Proce
ss:
1. Check the attributes of the MG interface. It is found that the attributes are proper. The MG
interface can register successfully and the system does not have abnormal alarm information.
2. Run the display runstat callInfo command to query the current call information in the system.
It is found the off-hook quantity is 50 and the communication quantity is 5. The put-through rate
is very low.
3. Check and replace the control board and its subboard (H601PVMC0+H602ETCN). The
problem persists.
4. Run the display mgc-overload-control command to check the maximum leak rate. It is found
that the value generated by the upgrade tool is 0.40. Change it to 40. The problem persists.
5. Run the DBWIN command to check the maximum leak rate that takes effect in the system
(case attachment: How to Check the Valid Leak Rate of the UA5000). It is found that the
parameter does not take effect. Reset the H248 interface and test the service again. It is found
that the service is normal.
Suggestions and
Summary:
Maximum leak rate is used to restrict the number of calls initiated per second. In the subsequent
UA5000 R13C05 and R17 versions, this overload control parameter is added. This parameter
may be abnormal if the upgrade tool is faulty.
In the future, the upgrade tool will be updated to thoroughly solve this problem. Currently,
manually change this overload control parameter after using the upgrade tool.
