Port 0 is incorrectly configured as an optical port. Run the command
mode 0 GE-Electrical to modify the mode of port 0 to GE electrical. Test the port again.
The port is still not activated.
4. Consult the switch side. The peer end is a 100M electrical port. In the IPM mode, run
the following command:
huawei(config-if-ipm-0/2)#speed
{ portid<U><0,15> }:0
{ 10<K>|100<K>|1000<K> }:100
Command:
speed 0 100
Port 0 is modified to a 100M electrical port. Test the port again. The port is activated.

By default, the upstream port of the IPMD board is a GE optical port. In practice, if a 100M
optical port or electrical port is used for upstream communication, the port mode of the IPMD
board must be modified.
