Suggestions: When the MA5600T is aggregated upstream to the switch 6500 of
company C, LACP and the active mode must be configured on the switch 6500 of
company C so that the LACP negotiation between the MA5600T and switch 6500 of
company C is enabled. The active negotiation mode is used on Huawei MA5600T by
default.

On the MA5600T of R51, the system configures a T-CONT 0 for each ONT by default
and a fixed 5 Mbit/s bandwidth is used for the OMCI and cannot be changed. For details,
see the FAQ-How to Allocate the Reserved Bandwidth of the MA5680T (ONT) Providing
the GPON Service for the Upstream OMCI.
On the MA5600T of R52 and later versions, the type of T-CONT 0 can be changed to
assured and the minimum bandwidth can be configured to 1 Mbit/s. In the
implementation, each ONT uses T-CONT 0 for the OMCI by default and each T-CONT 0
uses DBA 1 profile, which are applicable to R51 and R52. The DBA 1 profile uses the
fixed 5 Mbit/s bandwidth by default. Therefore, when the MA5600T is upgraded from
R51 to R52, the configuration does not change and the OMCI uses the fixed 5 Mbit/s
bandwidth by default.
To change the bandwidth and type of T-CONT 0 for the OMCI on the MA5600T of R52,
do as follows:
1. Add a DBA profile, such as profile 10. The type of T-CONT 0 is assured and the
bandwidth of this profile is 1 Mbit/s. Profiles 1-9 are default profiles and cannot be
changed.
2. In the board mode, run the tcont modify-profil command to change the DBA profile
bound to T-CONT 0 to 10. According to the command, this operation is to change the
DBA profiles of ONTs one after another. Therefore, a script must be made to change the
DBA profiles in batches.
