Major: The SUN2000L enters Shutdown mode and disconnects from the power grid to
stop generating power after a fault occurs.
Minor: Some components are faulty but the SUN2000L can still connect to the power
grid and generate power.
Warning: The SUN2000L output power decreases due to external factors.
Table 8-2 Common alarms and troubleshooting measures
High
String
Input
Voltage
Cause ID = 1
The PV array is not
properly configured.
Excessive PV modules are
connected in series to PV
string 1, and therefore the
PV string open-circuit
voltage exceeds the
maximum inverter input
voltage.
Cause ID = 2
The PV array is not
properly configured.
Excessive PV modules are
connected in series to PV
string 2, and therefore the
PV string open-circuit
voltage exceeds the
maximum inverter input
voltage.
Cause ID = 1
Reduce the number of PV
modules connected in series to
PV string 1 until the PV string
open-circuit voltage drops to or
below the maximum inverter
input voltage. After the PV array
is correctly configured, the
inverter alarm disappears.
Cause ID = 2
Reduce the number of PV
modules connected in series to
PV string 2 until the PV string
open-circuit voltage drops to or
below the maximum inverter
input voltage. After the PV array
is correctly configured, the
inverter alarm disappears.
Cause ID = 1
PV string 1 is reversely
connected.
Cause ID = 2
PV string 2 is reversely
connected.
Cause ID = 1
Check whether the PV string 1
is reversely connected to the
SUN2000L. If yes, wait until the
solar irradiance declines at night
and the PV string current reduces
to below 0.5 A. Then, turn off the
DC switch and correct the PV
string polarity.
Cause ID = 2
Check whether the PV string 2
is reversely connected to the
SUN2000L. If yes, wait until the
solar irradiance declines at night
and the PV string current reduces
to below 0.5 A. Then, turn off the
DC switch and correct the PV
string polarity.
