Step 6 Set NetEco parameters to ensure that a connection is set up between the SmartLogger1000
and the NetEco 1000S.
1. Log in as Advanced User. On the Settings tab page, choose Comm. Param. > NetEco
to set NetEco parameters and upload the security certificate.

NetEco server: IP address for the NetEco 1000S server

Port number: If Huawei NetEco 1000S is connected, set this parameter to 16100 by default. If a
third-party NMS is connected, set this parameter to the number of the service port opened by the
system.

Address mode: usually Comm. Address or Logical Address If the devices connected to the three
RS485 ports on the SmartLogger have duplicate addresses, Logical address must be selected.
