11.5 Adjusting the high-speed compression damping of the shock absorber
Caution
Risk of injuryParts of the shock absorber will move around if the shock absorber is detached incor-
rectly.
The shock absorber is filled with highly compressed nitrogen.

The effect of the high-speed compression adjuster can be seen in fast compression of the shock
absorber.

Push the splash protector to the side.
Using an open end wrench, turn adjusting screw

clock-
wise all the way.

Do not loosen fitting

Turn counterclockwise by the number of turns corresponding
to the shock absorber type.
Guideline
High-speed compression damping
Comfort 2.5 turns
Standard 2 turns
Sport 1.5 turns
Info
Turn clockwise to increase damping; turn counter-
clockwise to reduce damping.
Position the splash protector.
