Insert the wide spacer on the left in the direction of
travel.

Position the rear wheel and insert wheel spindle.
The brake linings are correctly positioned.
Mount the chain.
Position chain adjuster

on both sides and push the wheel
spindle in all the way.

Make sure that the chain adjusters are fitted correctly on the
adjusting screws.

M12x1 40 Nm (29.5 lbf ft)
Operate the foot brake lever repeatedly until the brake lin-
ings are in contact with the brake disc and there is a pressure
point.
Finishing work
Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. ( p. 45)
15.5 Checking the tire condition

Only mount tires approved and/or recommended by Husqvarna Motorcycles.
Other tires could have a negative effect on handling characteristics.
The type, condition, and pressure of the tires all have a major impact on the handling characteristic of
the motorcycle.
The tires mounted on the front and rear wheels must have a similar profile.
Worn tires have a negative effect on handling characteristics, especially on wet surfaces.

Check the front and rear tires for cuts, embedded objects,
and other damage.
» If the tires have cuts, run-in objects, or other damage:
Change the tires.
