13.29 Checking the link fork

– Check the link fork for damage, cracking, and deformation.
» If the link fork shows signs of damage, cracking, or defor-
mation:
– Change the link fork.
Info
Always replace a damaged link fork. Husq-
varna Motorcycles does not permit repairing
link forks.
13.30 Checking the rubber grip
401197-01
– Check the rubber grips on the handlebar for damage, wear,
and looseness.
Info
The rubber grips are vulcanized onto a sleeve on the
left and onto the handle tube of the throttle grip on the
right. The left sleeve is clamped onto the handlebar.
The rubber grip can only be replaced with the sleeve
or the throttle tube.
» If a rubber grip is damaged, worn, or loose:
– Change the rubber grip.
