It must be possible to move the handlebar easily over the
entire steering range. There should be no detectable detent
positions.
» If detent positions are detected:
– Adjust the steering head bearing play. ( p. 52)
– Check the steering head bearing and replace if
required.
Finishing work
– Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. ( p. 45)
