13.6 Installing the fork protector

– Position the fork protector on the left and right fork leg.
Mount and tighten screws

– Position the brake line and the clamp. Mount and tighten
screws

Preparatory work
– Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. ( p. 45)
– Remove the front wheel. ( p. 76)

Remove screws

and take off the clamp.

Remove screws

and take off the brake caliper.
– Allow the brake caliper and the brake line to hang loosely to
the side.

Do not kink the brake line.

– Note the installation position of the fork legs.
