The following gure indicates the declared noise emissions values in accordance with ISO 9296.
SSRs must be enrolled in a hearing conservation program and use hearing protection when servicing the
system.

IP address allocation and usage
As you plan your installation, you must consider IP address requirements and service access for the
system.
The utility node uses 100 GbE / 200 GbE / 100 Gb EDR / 200 Gb HDR network for cluster communication
and data transport. For IP port usage requirement, see IBM Storage Scale Documentation.
For conguration and management, you must allocate an IP address to the system. This IP address is
referred to as the management IP address. The storage system also has a BMC IP address, which is
known as the service IP address. The addresses must be xed. Only IPv4 addresses are supported for
management and service.
