Unpacking the IBM Storage ScaleSystem Utility Node (IBM SSR task)
Before you unpack a utility node, ensure that you reviewed and followed all the related instructions.
The utility node and related parts are shipped preinstalled in the enclosure:
• The utility node comes preinstalled with the following components:
– One AMD EPYC 7003 Series Processor
– Two PSUs
– Two power wire mounts
– Two US power cord
– One lithium battery
– Six 60*60*38 mm fans
– One chassis
– One top lid
– One left riser bracket C
– One left riser bracket D
– One processor battery
– One TPM
– Two M.2 latches
– Two SSDs
– DDR4 DIMMs (depends on the order)
– Network adapters (depends on the order)
– Interface cables (if ordered)
• Rack rails kit and screws
• Cable Management Arm (CMA) kit
• One location map label
Note: You might need a box knife to unpack the utility node.
CAUTION:
To lift the assembled enclosure, two persons are required unless a suitable lifting
equipment is available or the enclosure is unpacked and dismantled as described in the procedure.
