If the Attention LED clears and reappears each time the cartridge is reloaded, suspect that cartridge is defective. Export the cartridge and load a known good one. The cartridge might be worn out, have a defective memory, or be formatted as a Firmware Upgrade cartridge. Do not reuse suspected defective or contaminated cartridges in any drive. If the suspect cartridge is a cleaning cartridge, it might be expired.
