To remove the power supply from the server, complete the following steps:
1. Turn off the server and peripheral devices.
2. Disconnect the dc power cable from the dc power source.
3. Push in on the side of the connector 1, and then pull the connector 2 out of
the server.
4. Push down on the power-supply release tab, and then pull the power supply out
of the server.

Store this document with the server for future use.
Removing and replacing Tier 2 CRUs
You may install a Tier 2 CRU yourself or request IBM to install it, at no additional
charge, under the type of warranty service that is designated for your server.
