Transmit a Position Request call when
you want to know a specic ship’s
current position, and so on.
D Sending a Position Request call
q Push [Compose Non-Distress]
to display the Compose Non-Distress
screen.
• To display the screen from the Menu
screen:
([MENU] > Compose Non-Distress )
w Select “Message Type,” then push
[ENT].
e Select “Position Request,” then push
[ENT].

t Select the desired individual
address, or “Manual Input,” then
push [ENT].
