DSC OPERATION
q When a Test call is received:
An alarm sounds.
The following screen is displayed.
The backlight blinks when the BAM
function (p. 20) is OFF.
w Push any [Close] .
When the BAM function (p. 20) is
OFF: Push any [Alarm OFF] .
e Select your desired action.

q When a Test acknowledgment is
received:
An alarm sounds.
The following screen is displayed.
When the BAM function (p. 20) is
OFF: The backlight blinks and the
popup screen is displayed.
Push any [Alarm OFF]
, and
then push any [Close Call RCVD
Window]
.
When the BAM function is OFF.
Receiving DSC calls (Continued)
[Hold]: Holds the RX call task,
and return to the previous
screen.
[Able]: Sends an acknowledgment.
[Accept]: Enters the DSC Task mode.
DSC Task mode
Rotate [CH/ENT] to view the call
contents.
r Push [Home] to return to the
Main screen.
NOTE: When “Test ACK” is set to “Auto,”
the transceiver automatically replies to the
call. Both the TX and RX calls are stored in
the Transmitted and Received Call Logs.
(Default: Auto)
