55Measure with IEPE/ICP expansion plug
4.8.4 ACC/DSUB-ICP2-BNC
This is a 2-channel pre-amp in the form of an imc connector, which provides two sensors
having IEPE/ICP output to be connected via BNC. The available coupling types for
channels to which it is connected, offer the additional entry "AC with current supply",
which makes direct connection of ICP™ -, DeltaTron®-, or PiezoTron®-sensors possible.
The connector provides a 4 mA current supply.
The desired modification of the properties of your measurement amplifier used by connecting the
expansion connector, the measurement software must be notified:
· with CRFX by clicking the button - read the sensor TEDS information
· with CRC and CRPL by clicking the button - preparation of the measurement
The measurement software must also be notified when the connectors are disconnected.
The ICP connector contains information enabling the amplifier to be set appropriately for AC
coupling with current feed. If the sensor connected additionally contains TEDS information, this info is
also applied. This sensor and connector information must first be imported;
