Option buttons / icons
These buttons are used to personalize the selected programme on the basis of individual needs and pre-
ferences. Before any option can be selected, a programme must be activated by pressing a programme
selection button.
Not all the options are available for all programmes (see Start and programmes section). If an option is
not available and the relative button is pressed, a succession of four beeps will be heard. If the option is
available, a single beep is heard and the option icon blinks to confirm the selection.
Delayed Start
The start of certain programmes (see Start and programmes section) can be delayed by up to 18 hours.
Make certain that the condensate tray is empty before setting a delayed start. To set the timer, press the
delayed start button: the display reads OFF and the DELAYED START icon lights up. Pressing the button a
section time, a delay of one hour is selected and the display reads 1:hr. Pressing the button again, another
hour is added to the delay. Pressing the button when the display reads 18:hr, the message OFF appears
and after a few seconds the delayed start will be cancelled.
Pre Care
This option is available only if a delayed start has been selected. The clothes are tumbled occasionally
during the delay period, to help avoid the formation of creases in the fabric.
Alarm
Available on all programmes. Activating the alarm, the buzzer will sound at the end of the drying cycle to
remind the user that the clothes are ready to take out. Press the button, and the icon will indicate that the
option is selected.
Post Care
When this option is available and selected, clothes not removed immediately from the machine on comple-
tion of the programmed drying and cooling cycles will be tumbled again occasionally so as to prevent the
formation of creases in the fabric.
TIME DISPLAY
Thedisplay shows both the time remaining until a delayed start is due, and the time remaining until com-
pletion of a drying programme. The delayed start is displayed in hours, and counts down hour by hour. The
DELAYED START icon blinks after the start button has been pressed.
