The float switch and drain pump are associated
with the rear panel, at the bottom left. Condensed
steam is forced by the pump into a hose leading up
to the water tray, located behind the control panel.
The pump remains constantly under power for the
entire duration of the programme and is deactivated
only by the operation of the float switch when tripped
by the level of water in the reservoir. The operation
of the float deactivates the heating element and acti-
vates the LED or ICON on the control panel to warn
that the water collection tray is full, and must be
emptied before the heating elements can come
into operation again
The motor is a two pole type running at 2800 rpm.
Protection is guaranteed by a bimetal thermal
overload cutout that resets automatically, and may
disconnect the electrical power input to the windings.
A start capacitor rated 7 µF is installed alongside.
(LED or LCD) the mainboard is located behind the
control panel.
• The display or Led PCB is used to set the pro-
grammes and options, show the progress of the
cycle and generate warning messages (clean
filters, empty water tray, FAULT etc.)
The function of the ferodo shoes is to support the drum
at the front and prevent it from shifting out of position,
consequently losing heat and generating unwanted
noise. The shoes can be replaced when worn
