The START/CANCEL button starts a selected
programme. Pressing this button, a short beep is
heard and the progress icon blinks on and off to con-
firm the action. If no programme has been selected,
a succession of four beeps will be heard. Once a
programme is running, pressing and holding this
button produces a prolonged beep, and the dryer
will stop (see Start and programmes section).
OPTION buttons/icon: these buttons activate the
options available for the selected programme (see
Controls). The icons indicate that the option has
been selected.
The Drying Guide is a simple table indicating the
relationship between different fabrics and the loading
capacity of the drum.
The empty water icon indicates that the
water collection tray must be emptied. When the icon
blinks, the tray is full.
The indicator will stop blinking a few seconds after
the empty tray has been replaced; for this to occur,
the dryer must be in operation (see Controls).
The Clean Filter icon reminds the user to
clean the filter each time the dryer is used (see
Maintenance section).
The ON/OFF indicator confirms that the dryer
is in operation, or ready for selection of a program-
me.
ON/OFF
button: with the dryer in operation,
pressing this button will stop the cycle and shut off
the machine. Pressing the button again, the ma-
chine restarts. As long as the door has not been
opened, the START button can be pressed again
to continue.
Progress icons:
these indicate the current status of the programme.
As each successive step of the programme is indi-
cated, the relative icon lights up: Pre Care, Drying,
Cooling and Post Care (see Start and programmes
section).
The PROGRAMME selection buttons are used to set
the programme: press the button corresponding to
the desired programme (see Start and programmes
section).
Selecting the programme
1. Plug the dryer into the a.c. mains socket.
2. Select the laundry according to the type of fabric
(see Laundry section).
