(If the dryer is connected to a drain line, this indicator can be ignored as there is no need to empty the
condensate tray).
When this indicator is alight (permanently) it reminds the user to empty the tray. If the tray should fill up
during the course of a programme, the heater switches off and the dryer activates a Cooling step. In this
situation, the indicator blinks and the buzzer will sound. At this point, the dryer stops, the 3 hour delay and
all the progress indicators light up, and the Empty Water indicator blinks. The tray must now be emptied
and the machine restarted, otherwise the clothes will not dry.
Once the dryer has been restarted, there will be a pause of a few seconds before the indicator goes out.
To prevent this situation from occurring and avoid having to restart, empty the tray every time the dryer is
used (see Maintenance section).
Opening the door
If the door is opened with a programme in progress, the dryer will stop and the following situation is crea-
ted:
› The 3 hour delay indicator and all 3 progress indicators light up.
› During a delay period, the delay will continue to count down. The START button must be pressed to
reinstate a delay programme.
One of the delay indicators will blink to to indicate the current delay setting.
› The START button must be pressed to resume the programme. The progress indicators will show the
current status of the programme.
› At any given moment during a drying programme, including the cooling cycle or the Post Care stage,
the programme will be terminated. Pressing the START button, a new programme will be activated from
the beginning.
› Changing the position of the programme knob, a new programme will be selected, after pressing the
START button. This function can be used to force a cold air stage and cool the clothes in the drum, if
they have already dried sufficiently.
Note
In the event of a power failure, switch off or unplug the machine, then press the START button and the
programme will be reinstated.
