Removing and Installing the Fan of a Plastic Housing
Removal
1. Depress the fan cover hooks.
2. Take the fan cover off the top of the drive.
Fan cable
connector
2. Pull the fan upward and disconnect
the fan cable from the drive.
Installing
Fan power socket
1. Connect the fan power cable to the fan power socket.
Mounting holes x 4
2. Install the fan into the drive and ensure
mounting hole alignment.
Hooks
3. Press in the hooks on the drive until the fan cover
gets back to place.
4. Ensure correct air flow direction.
