    Why Integra DTR-5 has buzzing noise on AM?

      If you hear a buzzing noise on AM with your Integra Receiver, especially at night or with weak stations, the noise may be coming from electrical apparatus like a fluorescent lamp. Try moving the AM loop antenna to a different position. You can also set up an outdoor AM antenna.

      If you are getting a high-pitched or buzzing noise on AM with your Integra Receiver, the noise may be coming from your TV set. Place the AM loop antenna as far away from the TV as possible. Also, move the unit away from the TV set.

      If you are experiencing crackling noise on AM or FM with your Integra Receiver, the noise may be caused by turning a fluorescent lamp on and off. Move the antenna as far as possible from the fluorescent lamp. If the noise is from automobile ignition, install an FM outdoor antenna as far as possible from the road.

      If no station is recalled on your Integra Receiver, the memory contents may have been lost because the power cord was unplugged or the POWER switch was turned off for an extended period. Store all stations again.
