Lithium Battery

Transportation Classification
The Federal Aviation Administration prohibits operating transmitters and receivers on all com-
mercial aircraft. When powered and not in Factory ship mode, the Itron device is considered an
operating transmitter and receiver and cannot be shipped by air. All product returns must be
shipped by ground transportation.
Electrostatic Discharge
Warning! Internal circuit components can be sensitive to electrostatic discharge.
Before installation, discharge electrostatic buildup by touching a metal pipe or other
earth-grounded metal object prior to touching the meter body, register housing, or
Itron device.
