D SERIES V6 DCL ASU Manuals
V6 Base Module, cont.
Item #8 This connects to the motor driver.
MB / MC: Alarm contact indicating driver fault (N.C.)
SC / S1: Pump start signal
A1 / AC: 0-10V pump speed signal
Item #9
If the ASU is equipped with a digital pressure read-out, it
connects to this terminal. The transducer type is two-wire
4-20mA.
In order
to monitor the actual speed, a RPM reading device
(gear pumps) or stroke counter (piston pumps) can be
connected to this terminal.
In order for a gear pump to follow the line speed of a
parent machine, a 0-10VDC voltage is required. This input
voltage is connected to these terminals. The input is
polarity sensitive. When an optional signal isolator is installed,
the line speed input is located on the signal isolator.
Warning: The line speed input is grounded. If the line
tracking voltage has a different ground potential, it is
recommended to use a signal isolator. Otherwise, damage
to the V6 modules is possible.
