Axle
Differential Lock Engagement (where fitted)
To
engage
the
front axle differential
lock.
ensure that
the
vehicle
is
either stationary
or
at
a
very low speed, and depress
the
switch
I,
the
warning lamp 2
will
illuminate.
As soon
as
the
vehicle
is
normally running, turn
the
switch I
again
to
the
idle
position, thus
causing
the
lock
to
be enabled and
the
warning lamp
to
extinguish.
.APower
take-offfor
body tipping (where fitted, on K-version vehicles)
Proceed
as
follows
to
obtain maximum performance from
the
power take-offdevice:
Run
the
engine
at
idle
speed, depress
the
clutch pedal, wait4
to
5 seconds, then operate
the
power take-offdevice through pushbutton
I.
Release
the
clutch pedal very slowly.
Engagement
of
the
power
take-offdevice generally occurs during this stage.
The transmission should therefore be started as slowly and gradually
as
possible.
Led
3 illuminates
to
indicate that engagement
has
occurred.
Now rev up
the
engine
to
the
speed required for a satisfactory performance
of
the
system.
Engine
rpm can be increased from
the
ground through
the
hand accelerator
control located on
the
driver's seat left-hand drive.
Proceed
as
follows
toto
disengage
the
powertake-offdevice: depress
the
clutch pedal,
wait 4
to
5 seconds and
0en
press pushbutton
2.
Led
3 goes out.

Power take-offengagement warning
lamp.
4. Pushbutton for body tipping.

Warning! Actual enablement
of
control devices activated through pushbutton

delayed
to
garant
the
operator
the
possibility
to
cancel
the
command.
