2. Remove the rod and piston assembly (3) from the
cylinder body (4).

3. Remove the seal (5) and wiper (6) from the piston
(7).

4. Remove wiper seal (10) and seal (9) from the end
cap (8).
5. Remove O-ring (11) from the end cap (8).

6. Remove wiper seal (12) and seal (13) from the end of
the steering cylinder (14).
Assembly Notes
NOTE
• Assemble the steering cylinder by reversing the order
of disassembly.
• Always install new seals and O-rings for assembly;
used parts may leak.

• Install seal (16) in the lower cavity (15) of the end cap
(or the end of the steering cylinder) with the open
face facing toward the inside of the cylinder, by
compressing the seal and working it into the cavity.
• Install the wiper seal (17) by pressing it into the
opening until it snaps into place.
