NOTE
Record the location of the fittings before removal to
ensure correct installation.
9. Remove fittings (23 and 24) from the steering
cylinder (15).
10. Inspect O-rings on fittings (23 and 24). Replace as
needed.
11. Remove the rod end (21) and jam nut (20) from the
steering cylinder (15).
12. Bend the tab washers (19) away from the screws (18)
and remove the screws.
13. Remove the journal (22) from the steering cylinder
(15).
14. Inspect bushings (16 and 17). Replace as needed.
Installation Notes
• Install the steering cylinder by reversing the order of
removal.

• Install (tighten) screw (25) fully into the rear wheel
support (28) before installing the nut (27).
• Tighten nut (27) to 103 lb-ft (140 N·m).
• Apply grease to lubrication fitting (26). (Refer to
“Safety, Operation, and Maintenance Manual” for
grease specifications.)
• Check hydraulic oil level. Add oil as needed. (Refer to
“Safety, Operation, and Maintenance Manual” for
hydraulic oil specifications.)
