UMG 511
Direct measurement
Nominal currents up to 5A can also be directly
measured with the UMG511.
Under consideration that the direct measure-
ment will be carried out for the current only in
three phase 4 wire systems with mains voltage
till
• 127V/220V (300V CAT III) according UL
• 277V/480V (300V CAT III)
and three phase 3 wire systems with mains vol-
tage till
• 277V (300V CAT III) according UL
• 480V (300V CAT III)
Due to the fact that the UMG511 does not have in-
tegrated protection for the current measurement,
this protection must be foreseen in the installation.

Ampere meter
If you want to measure the current not only with
the UMG511, but also with an additional ampere
meter, the ampere meter must be switched in se-
ries to the UMG511.
