The RS485 interface on the UMG511 is designed

as a 9-pin DSUB socket.

On this interface, the UMG511 supports the fol-

lowing selected protocols:

• Modbus RTU

• Proﬁbus DP V0 Slave (Option)

For connection, we recommend a 9-pin proﬁbus

(modbus) plug e.g. the company Phoenix, type

„SUBCON-Plus-ProﬁB/AX/SC“ with the article

number 2744380 (Janitza article no. 13.10.539).
