To check:
1. Set the upper feed adjusting dial at “0”.
Remove the belt cover and base cover
(see page 1-2).
2. Turn the power switch on and select ( ) stitch.
Lower the feed dog.
3. Press the needle up/down button twice to raise the
needle, and the upper feed dog position will be
initialized.
4. Check if the clearance between the upper feed link
shaft and upper feed lower shaft is 2.5 mm.
If not, adjust it as follows.

The clearance between the upper feed link shaft and upper feed lower shaft should be 2.5 mm when the upper feed
adjusting dial is set to "0".

To adjust:
1. Loosen the setscrew (use an Allen wrench of 2 mm
width across ats) on the upper feed adjusting arm (1).
Adjust the clearance between the upper feed link shaft
and upper feed lower shaft to 2.5 mm.
