1.1 General safety instructions
It is only allowed to use the woodchipper for the designated feeding! The designated
feeding can be found in the technical data of this manual.
There can be conflicting information because of differences in machine types. The
essential information in this case is the one that is favorable for the machine safety!
The woodchipper is constructed according to present technical standards. It is reliable
in operation. There can be dangers by using the machine contrary to the designated
use.
Each person that attends to work on or with the machine (e.g. maintenance, operation,
assembly etc.) has to read and follow the operating instructions. Breakdowns and
damage of/on the woodchipper that can be traced back to insufficient knowledge or
non-observance of the operating instructions are not part of the warranty and
guarantee.
It is only allowed to chip trunk or brush wood with the woodchipper unless there is a
different specification in the operating instructions. The maximum trunk diameter can
be found in the technical data. Every use that differs from the designed use is not
allowed. The manufacture takes no responsibility for damage that result from misuse.
The risk by misuse is in charge of the operator.
The prescribed assembly-, operation- and service-instructions are also part of the
intended use. Modifications of the machine cause the loss of the warranty and
guarantee.
All work in connection with assembly, operation, service and adaption must only be
carried out by specially trained personnel or specialist companies.
The technical safety instructions have to be followed at all times. The general safety
and accident prevention instructions of the employer's liability insurance coverage
apply for the operation of the woodchipper in every case.
Basic rule
The operator has to instruct every user concerning the operation and service of the
machine. Applicable regulations of the labor protection law should be considered.
Check the road and operation safety before starting up the machine!
