7. Storage and disposal of the machine
7.1. Storage
7.1.1. Store the machine
For storage of the machine longer than 3 month:
1. Clean up the machine properly (see cleaning the machine)
2. Lubricate the machine (see lubrication instructions)
3. Disconnect and dismount the battery
4. Self-propelled machine: fill up fuel
5. For machines with wheel undercarriage: jack up the machine to avoid storage
damage to the wheels.
Also follow the information for storage of the co-manufactured parts (e.g. chassis,
crane, engine, etc.).
7.1.2. Remove from storage
1. Reload the battery and mount and connect the battery to the machine
2. Lower the chassis on the wheels if necessary.
3. Check wheel pressure (if existing)
4. Check function of the brakes (if existing)
5. Check engine and hydraulic oil level.
7.2. Disposal of the machine
At the end of the service limit of the machine all parts of the machine need to be
disposed properly. This applies especially for the following parts:
Oils and lubricants: Grease, engine oil, hydraulic oil, gear box oil
Antifreeze fluid of the radiator system of the engine
Battery
Wheels
Insulation material
Hydraulic hoses
Drive belts
Attention!
Non proper disposal can cause damage to the environment!
Also follow the information for disposal of the co-manufactured parts (e.g. chassis,
crane, engine, etc.)
