6. Maintenance
6.9. Drive belts
- check weekly
- When machine is new or after drive belt change check the tension of the
belts after 1-2 operation hours
- Correct tension if necessary
Attention!
Machine must be turned off!
6.9.1. Drive belt tension check
1. Remove the bolts of the drive belt cover and dismount the cover.
2. Check the tension of the belts. Ideal tension: indentation depth 20-30 mm with
a test load of 7,5 kg.
3. Mount the drive belt cover in inverse order.
6.9.2. Tensioning of the drive belts for self-propelled machines
(combustion engine):
(A141/041, A231/240, A328/340 pivotable)
1. Remove bolts of the drive belt cover.
2. Open eccentric lock left-handed of the engine block.
3. Swing out the drive belt cover.
4. Loosen the bolt between the infeed chute and the engine block.
5. Open eccentric lock (between infeed chute and engine block).
6. Loosen and remove the bolts of the engine bracket (according to machine type
and design 3-4 bolts).
7. Loosen the counter nut of the clamping screw.
8. Engine bracket is pivotable and shiftable.
9. Tension of the belt can now be regulated by shifting the engine block.
10. Follow inverse order to fix the belt tension.
Attention!
The engine block needs to be adjusted straightly to ensure a straight running of the
belt. To straighten the engine block use the clamping screw (with counter nut) on the
right handed side of the engine block.
