4. Working with the woodchipper
The steps that are described in this chapter can differ because of special machine
specifications. Because of that it is possible, that some work steps for your machine
differ from the steps that are described in this chapter.
4.1 Personal protection
Safety gloves
Wear safety gloves while working with the machine. Do not fix the
gloves on your arm or wrist – accident hazard!
Ear protection
It is necessary to wear ear protection, because a noise rating level over
90 dB(A) is not avoidable!
Head and eye protection
Branches can lash! Because of that head and eye protection is
necessary.
Safety shoes
Wear suitable safety shoes while working with or on the machine.
Attention!
Observe the general safety and accident prevention instructions of this instruction
manual when working with the machine. In addition observe the accident prevention
instructions of the responsible employer's liability insurance coverage.
Attention!
Do not exceed the max. knife disk speed (see rating plate)!
Attention!
Engine with fixed impellent. Reduce the rotational speed before turning off the engine.
