6. Maintenance
6.2. Cleaning the machine
Clean the machine with a pressure washer according to the material and amount
(approx. once per month).
For this:
- For motor machines: open the engine cover or rather swivel of the motor
bracket.
- Open the ejector cap.
- Take of all safety covers.
Do not put the water jet directly onto bearing zones!
For machines with Service-Center: Do not put the water jet directly onto the Service-
Center. When water gets into the Service-Center the electric system can be damaged.
After cleaning the machine:
Grease all greasing points (see lubricating instructions).
Put on all safety covers and put back up the engine cover and ejector cap.
6.3. Lubricating instructions
The lubrication intervals for an 8-hour shift can be looked up in the following table. For
longer shifts the intervals need to be adapted.
For the lubrication a commercial grease gun is needed. Use multi-purpose grease of
the specification KL 2 K (or higher).
The lubricating instructions for the co-manufactured components must be followed
according to the particular manual.
Further greasing points e.g. hinge-joints of the covers and the ejector cap can be
greased as necessary.
For machines with central lubrication system the lubrication differs from this
description.
